For all parents and students that the school shop is open each Wednesday from 3pm to 4pm. The shop is now based permanently in the JB main tech block .

Any students who have also ordered and paid for a black Y10 or Y11 sweatshirt who catch a school bus home will be allowed to leave P5 five minutes early to collect their order. This will help to reduce the stock in the shop, keep our students warm and make them look very smart!

Procedure for a Student Going Home Unwell

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

If your son or daughter is unwell they need to come to the school office and complete a form.  The school office staff will  then make the necessary call to parents to arrange collection.

We are finding that some students are making their own arrangements via mobile phone.

For your child’s safety we need the correct procedure to be followed.

As many of you will be aware the school operates a robust system of detentions to deal with aspects of low level disruption or poor behaviour. These detentions may be set by a faculty within the school to deal with issues such as homework not completed or low level disruption in class, or may be set by the Leadership team as a response to being sent to the Inclusion Unit.
