Transition to High School
Welcome to New Students of Sprowston Community High School
We are delighted that your child will be joining us from September 2013 and we would like to take this opportunity of welcoming you as a family.
The next 5 academic years will be a major chapter in the life of your child and we are absolutely committed to making this period as special and purposeful as possible, maximising, where we can, the well being and life chances of all the young people within our care.
The journey we take with your child begins now. There is much that we can do now to prepare the way, both practically and emotionally, so that your child will find the transition from Junior School to High School as exciting and stress free as possible.

You can also support us in a variety of ways …
Parents’ with children moving up to High School often tell us they miss out on their involvement in their child’s school life. If you are interested in getting involved, please inform Ms Evitt (Admin Office) who will discuss your interests and talk through all the necessary safeguarding procedures.
We very much look forward to meeting with you on the 3 July. If you are unable to make that meeting, or would like to ask any other questions, please contact Ms Evitt in the first instance on 01603 485266.
