Norfolk Parent Partnership

Norfolk Parent Partnership provides information and support for parents and carers of children with special educational needs.

Norfolk Parent Partnership has a steering group made up of people from local voluntary groups, Children's Services (Education and Social Care) and Health. Together they plan the services on offer to parents and carers in Norfolk.

What Does Norfolk Parent Partnership Do?

  • Offer confidential telephone support and information;
  • Provide written information;
  • Produce a termly newsletter which is available from your school;
  • Put parents and carers in touch with others who may be able to help;
  • Offer the support of a volunteer Independent Parental Supporter;
  • Ensure parents views are represented and influence SEN Policy and Practice;
  • Offer advice, information and support about the secondary admissions process through the Transition to Secondary School Officer.
