Under 16 Sprowston Girls Basketball - Student Report

On Thursday 5 November Sprowston Community High U16 girl's basketball played Stalham High. Sprowston got off to a good start by taking the lead with Raemonna  and Amy getting baskets. Sprowston stated to dominate but Stalham came back with a couple of baskets.

But Sprowston came came on top with baskets from Megan, Todd and Raemonna all scoring more baskets. During the interval Sprowston were well ahead and confident. Sprowston were dominating and Stalham started to get tired with sprowston making it look easy.

Then more baskets from Amyand Vicky put Sprowston well ahead and looking for a comfortable win. Stalham were starting to play with a bit more urgency, but because of this they were giving away a lot of fouls, giving Sprowston more opportinity to get some baskets.

In the last half Stalham started to fight back but sprowston held them off, with baskets from Kim and Ellie to seal the win. Stalham nver took the lead and the final score was 18-11 to Sprowston. It was a good start to the season from Sprowston.
