School policy documents are important because they help us communicate to every member of the school community exactly what our expectations, roles and responsibilities are in certain aspects of school life. Through making these documents available, the school staff, leadership team and governors aim to be open with all other members of the community that makes up the school.

Anti Bullying Policy

We are committed to providing a caring and friendly environment for all our students so that they can learn in a safe and secure manner. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at our school.

The aim of this policy is to make all governors, teaching and non teaching staff, students and parents understand what bullying is, and how bullying incidents should be reported and followed up. Download the Anti Bullying Policy (pdf, 108Kb).

Religious Studies and Collective Worship

Arts Policy

Behaviour Policy

The School Behaviour Policy (pdf, 131Kb) the aim of this policy is to give clear guidance to parents, staff and stakeholders on the expectations of the school with respect to behaviour and the methods used to ensure the maintenance of good order. Sprowston Community High School is primarily a place of learning and we believe that managing behaviour is integral to achieving an effective teaching and learning environment.

Gifted and Talented Policy (pdf, 99Kb) This policy is an integral part of our commitment to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to enjoy and achieve in school, making the progress that they are capable of in a learning environment that is safe, engaging and happy.
