Absence From School

If your child is going to be absent from school please inform us as early as possible in the day.

You have three ways of contacting us:

We then need the following information:

• Name and form of student
• Reason for absence
• Name of person making contact

If you know in advance that your child will be absent, e.g. medical reason, please put a note in your child’s journal and impress upon them that they must show their form tutor. The form tutor can then put the information on our system which shows the absence is authorised and also prevents the attendance officer having to make a call to you.
