Mug up on your revision timetable this half term

Get the best results from the following exam preparation:

 

  1. Don't panic as last minute flapping will do you no good at all
  2. Plan ahead for each topic
  3. Stock up on textbooks, notes, pens, paper, sticky notes
  4. Hit the ground running by starting your revision in the morning with the subjects you find most challenging
  5. The Knowledge Nightcap:  commit a few quotes and formulae to memory before going to bed
  6. Post it notes should be used on cupboard and fridge doors with reminder lists of verb endings, date sequences, etc
  7. Give yourself a break by having 15 minutes every 45 minutes of revision
  8. Reward yourself with your favourite food, film, music
  9. Go off line:  switch your mobile off and stop texting and tweeting, and also Facebook
  10. Don't despair:  ask for help from your tutor, class teacher, friend, family member
