Students in Science Success

The school recently took two teams to the regional final of the OPITO Engineering Earth’s Future Challenge at the Open Centre in Norwich and finished second, which means that our students have won a “frankly-terrifying-sounding-opportunity” to visit Petans Professional Safety Training Centre to undertake real offshore survival training (including fire-fighting!)
Congratulations to all involved Jack Mace (The Boss), Lauren Carman, Louise Lister, Hannah Airdrie, rachael Butterfield, Zoe Norman, Elli Minns and Jessica Shelvin.
According to Liz Davis-Smith Regional Manager – Skills & Learning Development for the organisers OPITO (The Oil & Gas Academy) "It's been a joy to see how engaged the pupils have been – they are a big credit to the school they have represented."
