Sprowston High in Norwich was one of five schools in the country chosen to create a special royal wedding animation for the BBC homepage.
Thirty students, aged 11 to 18, produced a street party scene on a set of Norwich city centre. Recordings of local people also featured in the project.
Guests at the make-believe Norwich street party may have included the Daleks and Shrek, but the purpose of the animation was to capture local people's thoughts and opinions on the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
"The idea is that the children picked characters to represent the people that we'd interviewed." said teacher Elaine Humbleby.
"They interviewed members of the public of all ages and genders and collected people's thoughts on the royal wedding."
The animations, when merged together, will include a voice-over by newsreader Huw Edwards and will feature on the BBC homepage and Big Screens throughout the country prior to the wedding on 29 April 2011.
