Foolhardy Circus Big Top Residential Week 28 Mar - 1 Apr

Year 7 and 8 students had the amazing opportunity to take part in an weeks residential with Foolhardy Circus at the end of our Spring term. For one week 33 students worked with specialist circus performers in the 'Big Top', circus tent and devised their own performance which they performed to family members and friends on the final day.

During the week they learnt a wide range of circus skills including: the trapeze, walking up the Chinese Pole and across the tightrope, juggling, hoola hoop, diablo, plate spinning, stilts, unicycle, clowning, learning about clown face painting and creating their own special, clown face egg.

Student  feedback shows what a superb time the students had and how much they engaged with the circus performers, enjoyed and learnt for this unique and often challenging experience;
