My name is Dawn Craddock and I am the Local Course Support Assistant for Norfolk County Council’s Adult Education Service based in Sprowston High School. I work in the school on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm till 9.30pm term time only.

My job is to support the learners attending our classes at the school, and the tutors delivering the courses. This includes making sure that tutors have everything they need, giving advice about Adult Education courses to learners and supporting them with any problems, and liasing with the school to book classrooms.

We run a variety of courses at the school, these range from 5 week courses such as cookery to one-year qualification courses such as GCSE Maths and British Sign Language. We also have a great variety of exercise classes including Yoga, Swimming and Legs, Bums and Tums – these classes normally run for 10 weeks at a time.

If you are interested in joining a course why not visit our website on www.norfolk.gov.uk/adulteducation, call us on 0844 800 8002 or drop in to see me in my office at the front of the building during Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evening.

We are always trying to increase the amount of courses we offer to the community. To help us do this we have employed a Community Development Worker called Colin Howey. He visits people within the local community to try and offer the type of courses that people want to see. If you have any ideas on courses you would like to see run in this area you can email him at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Thanks
