The BBC Norfolk Children and Young People's Film Festival 2012
Showcasing the best young film-making talent in the country. From the 16th to 27th July BBC Voices offers children and young people the chance to showcase their filmmaking talents on the giant screen in Fusion at The Forum. Year 10 students help uncover the past

A group of year 10 students had the opportunity to take part in a multi-school archaeology project organised by HEFA (Higher Education Field Academy) and The University of Cambridge.
The pupils spent the three days with Carenza Smith (of BBC Time team fame) and were able to conduct primary research to further our understanding of rural community development. The team from Cambridge University were impressed with all our students who found such items as Victorian Pottery, medieval pottery, china clay pipe, the skeleton of a dead cat and prehistoric flint artefacts...Read More
Students raise over £1000 from Food and Craft Fair

Students at Sprowston Community High School in Norwich have managed to raise over £1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and Rachel Lane, following a hugely successful food and craft fair which took place on Saturday 28 April 2012 at Sprowston Community High School. Celebrating the arrival of the Olympic Torch in Norwich

Following the success of the 5 Olympic Rings Art work, Culture Works East have asked our school to be part of the Olympic Torch Project. Students will have the opportunity to work with artist Maggie Campbell and produce art work to celebrate the arrival of the Olympic Torch in Norwich on the 4 July which will be displayed along the torch route in the City centre.
Ex Student Returns to Inspire Year 9

Sprowston High had a visit from ex student Laura Fearnley who came and gave a talk to year 9 students about her life at school and university.
